Hair
ProQual's new Level 2 diplomas for beauty therapists and nail technicians are based on National Occupational Standards to prepare and support learners as they enter the beauty industry. They are suitable for both on the job training as well as for colleges, schools and sixth forms. They feature flexible assessment options, with no externally set assignments or exams. Plus, each of the treatment services included, such as make-up, pedicures and gel nails, are also offered as stand alone awards and certificates for those already working in the beauty sector who want to "top up" their training.
NEW for Feb 2025 - ProQual's new suite of Level 3 qualifications will allow those already qualified at Level 2 to expand their skills, with diplomas and certificates covering Beauty Therapy, Spa Treatments, Massage Treatments, Nail Treatments and Aromatherapy.
Aesthetics
This exciting new suite features a complete pathway from absolute beginner to Level 7 experienced professional, including covering some aesthetic treatments that have never been covered by regulated qualifications before. We begin with a knowledge based Level 3 diploma that prepares learners to enter the world of aesthetic practice and has been designed to support entry into the profession; and is perfect for distance or blended learning. We then have diplomas at Level 4, 6 and 7 that cover a range of treatments, such as microneedling, chemical peels, mesotherapy and dermal fillers; as well as delving into the science of aesthetics and the impact of trends and the media. To support those already working, each treatment covered by one of the diplomas are also available as stand alone certificates, perfect for "top-up" training. Again, assessment is flexible with no externally set assignments or exams.
NEW for Feb 2025 - ProQual's expanded suite of Aesthetics qualfications includes Level 4 qualifications in Laser, IPL, Ultrasound and Radio treatments, Level 5 Advanced Micropigmentation and Level 6 qualifications in Phelbotmy for Aesthetic Practioners and Plasma Rich Therapy.
